In our fast-paced lives, when a person embarks on a path of spiritual growth, they first seek inner peace and tranquility. Through practices like meditation and mindfulness, they begin to attract positive and higher energies. These positive energies first enter our energy field (aura) and start to remove the bad energies of our pain, depression, and sorrow.
But a question arises here: what happens when a person continues to consume a non-vegetarian diet alongside their spiritual practice?
The Duality of Positive and Negative Energy
It's important to understand that a non-vegetarian diet increases vibrations in our body that are considered low-frequency and tamasic. When a person is attracting high positive energy for spiritual development, and at the same time is consuming low, negative energy through their diet, a conflict begins within them.
This is exactly like trying to clean your house while constantly bringing in dirt. Your positive energy has to work much harder to fight off the dirt, which is the negative energy. It's like empowering both forces at the same time.
The 'Churning of Energy' and Its Effects
When this internal battle between positive and negative energy takes place, the result manifests as a form of spiritual detoxification. During this phase, a person may face several emotional and physical ups and downs.
At times, they may feel a great sense of peace and positivity when the higher power dominates the lower.
And at other times, they may experience an excess of negative feelings like rage, greed, and lust when the lower power becomes stronger.
This is not limited to non-vegetarian food alone. If a person does not consume a non-vegetarian diet but still experiences these fluctuations, it is believed that either their energy field already has a lot of negative energy, or they are constantly absorbing negative vibrations from someone or something around them.
Therefore, your food plays a crucial role in your spiritual journey. The nature of your diet directly influences your energy, and it determines whether your path will be smooth or full of struggle.
